red (or other colour of your choice)

FP = flower paste (gum paste).
SP = sugarpaste (fondant).
50/50 FP/SP mix = FP and SP mixed in a 1:1 ratio. To make a 50/50 FP/SP mix, mix similar size pieces of FP and SP.

When the balloon is dry, dust it with red dust. I dusted the sides and the back, leaving the front of the balloon not dusted.
