Usage & licensing

This page explains how the tutorials and templates may be used, both personally and professionally. The aim is to keep things clear, fair, and respectful for everyone. If anything is unclear, feel free to contact me — I'm always happy to help.

The tutorials and templates are designed for individual cake decorators, both beginners and professionals. They are digital products accessed through your account. No physical products are shipped.

You may use the tutorials and templates for:

  • personal projects
  • professional cake orders

You may sell cakes that include toppers you create using the tutorials.

Selling figurines occasionally as part of cake orders is fine. What's not permitted is selling figurines on their own in larger quantities, running a shop focused on these designs, or marketing the designs as your own.

If you're unsure whether your use is allowed, just contact me before proceeding.

You may reuse templates as many times as you like for your own cake work.

You're welcome to adapt how you use the templates while modelling — adjusting proportions, combining parts, or creating variations. That's encouraged.

What's not allowed:

  • modifying template files (PDFs) to resell or share
  • using small design changes to mass-produce figurines outside cake orders

Accounts are for individual use only and may not be shared.

Tutorials and templates may not be shared, resold, gifted, or redistributed in any form.

If you're unsure whether something counts as sharing, contact me first.

Tutorials and templates may not be used for:

  • classes, workshops, courses, or demonstrations
  • online or in-person teaching
  • free or paid instruction

I don't offer teaching licences, and no exceptions are made.

You're free to develop your own skills over time, but creating tutorials that closely replicate the structure, templates, or distinctive methods used here is not permitted.

You may share photos or short clips of your own work.

Templates may appear briefly, as long as they're not usable or readable by others. Please don't share detailed steps or multiple stages that replace the tutorial.

If you'd like to credit or tag Crumb Avenue, it's always appreciated — never required.

Tutorials are written in English. You may translate them for personal use only. Translations may not be shared or redistributed.

All tutorials, templates, images, and written content remain the intellectual property of Crumb Avenue.

If you're ever unsure whether something is allowed, just contact me before proceeding.
