  • Scalpel
  • Ball tool (12 mm or similar size)
  • Dresden tool
  • Round cutter or piping nozzle (5 mm or similar size)
  • Small rolling pin
  • Cocktail sticks (a few bunched up with a rubber band + 4 separate ones)
  • Wooden skewer
  • Styrofoam ball x 2 (sizes: 5 cm and 4.5 cm)
  • Cake board - 5 inch
  • Foam pad
Sugarpaste (fondant)*
Flower paste (gum paste)*
CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose)
Edible glue

* You'll find the amounts in the 'AMOUNTS' tab.
11 cm
  • Sugarpaste (fondant):
    • green - 60 g
  • Flower paste (gum paste):
    • orange - 5 g
    • white - 1 g
    • black - 7 mm ball
  • FP/SP mix* with CMC**:
    • white - 95 g
    • yellow - 84 g

* FP = flower paste = gum paste; SP = sugarpaste = fondant; mix similar size pieces of both types of paste.
** Keep on adding the CMC until the paste get thicker (you need to use more pressure to knead it) and holds the shape well.
