There are many types of adhesives that you can use in your sugar craft projects:

  • Edible glue is the most popular choice. It's used to:
    • stick pieces of sugar paste together
    • attach sticks and florist wires
    • attach decorations (f.ex. dragees) to the cake. 
  • It will work only if at least one of the surfaces that you are trying to stick together is still soft (not dry).
  • If softened paste or royal icing are not strong enough, you can try melted chocolate. 
  • Sometimes, for additional support, you need to use sticks or florist wires.
