* Alternatively you can use modelling paste or sugarpaste (fondant) with CMC. If you decide to use sugarpaste (fondant) with CMC keep on adding the CMC gradually until the paste gets thick (you need to use much more pressure to knead it). Both the body and the head need to be firm before attaching the head or else they will lose their shape (sink). The body and the head need to be much firmer than the other parts. For thinly rolled out parts I suggest using flower paste (gum paste).

Stick the feet on with a small amount of glue.
Insert a short piece of wire or a cocktail stick where the egg will go.
Use a clean, dry wooden skewer to make a tunnel in the head. Without applying any glue yet, attach the head to check if the hole is positioned correctly. Make adjustments if there's need. Take the head off.
