So you want to create a cute and unique cake topper. How do you go about it? If you have no idea where to start, don’t worry - help is here! I'll guide you through the design process.

8. CHOOSE THE COLOURS

This doesn’t seem like an important step but it is! If you don’t decide on the colours before making the cake topper and simply choose them as you go, you might end up with no colour harmony f.ex:
  • the colours won’t be distributed properly (f.ex. same or similar colours will be gathered in the same area)
  • the colours won’t go well together
  • the colours will look dull

I suggest you start by colouring the parts that you know must have a certain colour. f.ex.:

  • tomato shoes - red (+ green petioles)
  • taco's head - yellow (+ green, red, brown filling)
  • eyes - black
  • cheeks - pink
