Height of the topper - 10 cm

Little Pig

Equipment:

- Dresden tool
- Bone tool
- Scalpel
- Frilling stick
- Teardrop cutters – 2,5 cm and 2 cm
- 6 mm nozzle
- Cocktail sticks x 2

Edibles:

Flower paste:
- 93 g pink (rose + a touch of golden yellow)
- 1 g white
- 1 g black
Edible glue
Pink dust colour

Step 1

Little Pig

Roll a 30 g ball of pink flower paste. Form a teardrop shape body. Place it on the board and press the body from the top with your finger to create a flat surface on the top where the head will attach. You want the topper to be sturdy that is why make sure that the bottom part of the body is slightly flat too. Apply a little amount of glue on the skewer and insert it into the body in rotary motion, all the way down. If the body loses its shape during inserting – fix it. Use the smaller side of the dresden tool to make holes for the legs and arms.

Step 2

Little Pig

Roll four 2 g balls of pink flower paste. Form four 2,5 cm long narrowed sausages. Flatten the wider end of each sausage. Use a dresden tool to mark a line as shown in the photo.

Step 3

Little Pig

Stick the legs to the body. Insert a 2 cm piece of cocktail stick in in each arm. I recommend to make a hole in the arm and in the body with a cocktail stick first. Then to apply a little amount of glue on the 2 cm piece of cocktail stick. Insert in into the arm and then attach to the body.

Step 4

Little Pig

Roll a 50 g ball of pink flower paste. Create a flattened egg shape with a slight narrowing on the sides.

Step 5

Little Pig

Use the bigger side of the bone tool to make holes for the eyes.

Step 6

Little Pig

Use the bigger side of the dresden tool to make a hole for the mouth.

Step 7

Little Pig

Roll two 5 mm balls of white flower paste and stick them in the previously created holes.
Roll a 3 mm ball of black flower paste and stick it in the mouth. Use a dresden tool to smooth the paste in the mouth and widen the smile a bit. Use a scalpel to make shallow cuts (create a smile as shown in the photo).

Step 8

Little Pig

Roll out (very thin) a small piece of black flower paste. Cut out two, black circles using a 6 mm nozzle.
I recommend leaving the rolled out flower paste to dry for a moment before cutting out the circles.
Make tiny sausages for the eyebrows.
Roll a 1 cm ball of pink flower paste. Create a flattened oval shape for the nose. Use a frilling stick to make two holes in the nose.

Step 9

Little Pig

Apply a little amount of glue on the cocktail stick and the top part of body before sticking on the head. Use the smaller side of the bone tool to make holes for the ears.

Step 10

Little Pig

Roll out 3 g of pink flower paste to about 2 mm thick. Use the bigger cutter to cut out two teardrops. Use the smaller cutter to mark a smaller teardrop shape inside previously cut out teardrops. Pinch both ends of the ears.
Roll a 5 mm ball of pink flower paste. Form a 1,5 cm sausage and create a spiral tail.

Step 11

Little Pig

Stick the tail to the back of the body and the ears onto the head.
Use a cocktail stick to make a belly button.

Step 12

Little Pig

Use pink dust to dust the topper a little.
