ball tool - 7 mm (or similar size) - I used a bone tool
small rolling pin
bone tool (or use the round side of the dresden tool)
50 mm (or similar size) - This cutter needs to be similar size as the head.
40 mm (or similar size)
20 mm (or similar size)
16 mm (or similar size)
piping nozzle - 1 mm (or similar size)
glue - medium round, fine round
dusting - medium flat, small round
scissors (or use a scalpel)
styrofoam cake dummy
Flower paste (gum paste)*:
yellow - 73 g
red - 4 g
black - 1 g
* You don’t have to use the same type of paste as me. If you decide to use sugarpaste (fondant) instead of flower paste (gum paste), make sure you add quite a lot of CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose) to it. It will make the paste thicker and speed-up the drying time. That way the body won’t sink under the weight of the head.
Once both the body and the head are firm, attach the head. Apply a small amount of glue on the base of the ears. Attach them.
