bone tool (or use the round side of the dresden tool)

50 mm (or similar size) - This cutter needs to be similar size as the head.

dusting - medium flat, small round
scissors (or use a scalpel)

Flower paste (gum paste)*:
yellow - 73 g
red - 4 g
black - 1 g
Edible glue

* You don’t have to use the same type of paste as me. If you decide to use sugarpaste (fondant) instead of flower paste (gum paste), make sure you add quite a lot of CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose) to it. It will make the paste thicker and speed-up the drying time. That way the body won’t sink under the weight of the head.

Now hold the body from the sides gently and press the wide end to the board to create a flat bottom. That way the cake topper won’t lean to the sides. Leave the body to dry for a while - it needs to be quite firm, before you insert the stick.
