50 mm (or similar size) - This cutter needs to be similar size as the head.

scissors (or use a scalpel)

Flower paste (gum paste)*:
yellow - 73 g
red - 4 g
black - 1 g

* You don’t have to use the same type of paste as me. If you decide to use sugarpaste (fondant) instead of flower paste (gum paste), make sure you add quite a lot of CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose) to it. It will make the paste thicker and speed-up the drying time. That way the body won’t sink under the weight of the head.

Apply a small amount of glue* on the stick where the body will go. Thread the stick through the tunnel in the body. Put the body in the cake dummy (previously created tunnel). Trim the stick to about 3.5 cm.
* If you apply too much glue it will take a long time for it to dry.
