Roll out the flower paste (gum paste) very thin (less than 1 mm). Cut out a square*. Fold two opposite edges as shown in the photo.
*To make the bow you will need two squares, but cut out just one square for now. If you cut out both of them right away, the second one might dry out too much before you finish with the first one. If it dries out too much, you will get cracks when folding it.
