Sugarpaste (fondant) with CMC* or flower paste (gum paste) or a mix (1:1) of those two types of pastes or modelling paste**
Edible blue
Dust colours
lilac
yellow
light silver
white lustre
Clear alcohol (a few drops)
* I used a mix of sugarpaste and flower paste (1:1) with CMC to make the head, body, wings and ears. Keep on adding the CMC powder until you feel that the paste gets quite thick, but you can still roll a smooth ball. Add the CMC shortly before forming the parts. For all other parts I used flower paste.
** You'll find the amounts in the 'AMOUNTS' tab.

Paint the grey elements silver and the pearl with white lustre dust. Use a clean, dry wooden skewer to make a hole in the head. Check if the hole is positioned correctly, but don’t stick the head to the body yet (both the body and the head are probably not dry/firm enough yet). Put the head away for now on a foam pad and leave it to dry.
