Peel the paste from the board gently, without stretching it. Since you have released it from the board earlier (before cutting), it's much easier to pick the paste up without stretching it.
Stick the icing to the whale’s head. You can make some adjustments with the scalpel, but don’t cut into the mint blue paste. Smooth the edges.
