TIPS
  • Don't put brushes directly into the jar with the fresh batch. If you do that you will contaminate the glue and it will go off quickly. Instead of that, take a small portion form the jar with a clean spoon and put it into a smaller container (or simply leave it on the spoon). Throw away the leftover glue (don't put it back into the clean batch).
  • Don't apply too much glue, otherwise the parts will slide around. It will also take a long time before the glue dries. The excess glue might also dissolve the paste and/or leave shiny glue marks.
  • Apply a thin coat of glue only on one of the surfaces that you are trying to stick together. You can take off the excess glue with your finger.
