If the glue is too runny, add more CMC.
If the glue is too thick, add more water.
STORAGE
Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Keep it clean - don't contaminate it.
If you notice that the glue is no longer clear, throw it away and make a fresh batch.
I personally prefer to make small batches often, than to store a large batch for a long time. That way I am sure that the glue is fresh.
