To make the cover I used a mix of flower paste and sugarpaste (1/3 flower paste + 2/3 sugarpaste). Knead some CMC powder into the mix. Keep on adding it gradually until you feel that the paste gets thick. It needs to be quite thick because you want the cover to hold its shape - see step 16. Roll it to about 3 mm (I used wooden lollipop stick as spacers). The piece needs to be long and wide enough to wrap it around the book (book cover).
