In this tutorial I'll show you how to make a Mad Hatter's Hat Cake Topper. It can be used as a decoration or a top tier. If you want the hat to have cake inside, simply substitute the polystyrene with cake.

Cut a strip which is narrowing down slightly towards both ends but leave one side straight.
The strip that you can see in the photo is completely straight - I changed the shape later and I forgot to take an additional photo ;)
