If you have the Teddy Bear templates, you can use them to make this cute bunny cake topper! :) You’ll find instructions on how to make the ears and the details in the photo descriptions below. You'll find a few additional templates in the 'TEMPLATES' tab.

13.

CARROT:
  • Roll a 6 g ball of orange flower paste/gum paste (template 35).
  • Form a teardrop shape (36).
  • Flatten it (37).
  • Flatten the wider end (38).
  • Use the fine end of the dresden tool to indent lines from the sides.
  • Use a small ball tool to make eye sockets.
  • Roll two tiny balls of black paste and stick them in the eye indentations.
  • Paint the smile with black gel (paste) colour. You can dissolve the colour in a small amount of water if there’s need. Use a very fine brush.
  • Roll three small tapering towards one end sausages of green flower paste. Let them dry for some time (they need to hold the shape well). Make three holes on the top of the carrot with a wire or a cocktail stick.
  • Stick the leaves in the holes with a very small amount of glue. Too much glue will dissolve the paste and the leaves won’t hold.
  • Once the carrot is dry, dust it and attach it (wire in the belly). Use softened paste* instead of glue. To make softened paste: Mix the flower paste/gum paste with some glue until you get a tacky consistency. Use it right away.

ARMS
  • Make them the same way as in the ‘Teddy’ Bear tutorial, but indent lines (fingers).

Once the cake topper is completely dry, dust it :)
