Apply a small amount of glue on two pieces of #26 wire. Roll two 6 mm ivory balls. Insert the wire inside (so that it doesn't poke through the ball) and roll the ball with the wire inside on your hand (or between your fingers). You want to form two tapering towards one end sausages with the wire inside.
If the wire is not sticking to the paste it might mean that you used too much glue or didn't use enough glue.
Flatten the end and make two cuts with a scalpel as shown in the photo.
