This dinosaur topper was inspired by an illustration sent over to me by one of my lovely customers :) Thank you Sara for letting me share this design with other cake decorators! :)

Edible glue
* FP = flower paste = gum paste; SP = sugarpaste = fondant; to make the 50/50 mix, mix similar size pieces of both types of paste f.ex. 20 g of FP and 20 g of SP.
**Keep on adding the CMC until the paste gets thick but you can still roll a smooth ball. Add more to the body and head than to the legs or arms.
12.5 cm (without the hat)
16 cm (with the hat)
18.
Roll a 3 g ball of white SP/FP mix. Form a tapering towards both ends sausage. Stick it in the indentation. Smooth it with your fingers.
Without applying any glue, position the head on the body. Check if you need to trim the neck at an angle. Take the head off. Place it on a foam pad (by now it should be firm enough to put it down; it shouldn’t lose the shape; keep on checking it from time to time and fixing the shape/smoothing if there’s need).
