Overview
Many of you have been asking me for a car tutorial, so here it is! :) This is a very easy technique, which I use to make all car cake toppers.
I personally have always found it difficult to model a car from one piece of paste. That is why I came up with this simple technique. It gives you much more control over the whole process.
The templates will be your size and shape guide. You don't have to worry about figuring everything out. Just sit down, relax and have fun!I wanted the car to be light, so I used polystyrene to make the inner part. You can use Rice Krispie Treats (RKT) instead. Alternatively, you can make the whole car from sugar paste, just keep in mind that it will be heavier.
