Roll out about 1 g of red flower paste to about 1 mm. Let the paste dry from both sides for a short while - the paste needs to hold the shape quite well (so that the circle doesn’t lose its shape) but can’t be too dry (so that you can wrap it around the arm nicely).
Use a 20 mm (or similar size) round cutter to cut out a circle. Make cuts as shown in the photo. You will need two quarters of a circle.
