Step 1

Little Duck

Roll a 75 g ball of yellow sugarpaste. Form a teardop shape.

Step 2

Little Duck

Create a curved teardrop shape and insert a cocktail stick as shown in the photo. You might need to trim the cocktail stick a little.

Step 3

Little Duck

Roll a 75 g ball of yellow sugarpaste and stick it onto the body. Use a ball tool to make indentations for the eyes. I spaced them 4 cm away from each other. I turned the head slightly around (so that the duck is looking slightly to its right).

Step 4

Little Duck

The photo above shows how to make the wings (3 g ball). Use a dresden tool to make the indented lines. Repeat this step for the second wing (mirror reflection).

Step 5

Little Duck

Stick the wings on. Roll two 4 mm balls of black flower paste and stick them on as eyes.

Step 6

Little Duck

Roll an 11 mm ball of orange flower paste. Use both index fingers and thumbs to press the ball to the board to create an elongated diamond shape. Shape the beak as shown in the photo.

Step 7

Little Duck

Stick the beak to the head. Use a dresden tool to mark a line as shown in the photo (see also next step).

Step 8

Little Duck

Use the dresden tool to create the nostrils.

Step 9

Little Duck

Roll three 5 mm balls of yellow sugarpaste. Form teardrop shapes. Stick them on the top of the head.

Step 10
