Amounts of fondant/sugar icing/gum paste you will need for a 4' (10 cm) figure:
Light grey - 160 grams:
Body - 30 g, head - 60 g, tail - 49 g, legs - 12 g (6g x 2), arms - 8 g (4g x 2), ears - 1 g
Cream - 8 g:
Belly - 2 g, muzzle - 4 g, tail bottom - 6 g
Green - 20 g
Brown - 6 g
Dark grey, pink, white and black - about 1 g of each colour (1 cm ball)
I made the legs the same way as in previous tutorials.
If I were to make the topper for a cake (not just for a tutorial) I would additionally insert a cocktail stick in the tail. The cocktail stick would go 1/3 in the tail and 2/3 in the cake.
Shape the tail so that it is quite flat at the bottom - it will be more secure.
See step 21 and 22 - you might want to do them before sticking the tail to the body.
You can make the ears more pointy at the top :)
If your ears are too heavy, use a piece of wire.
