Step 11

Happy Squirrel

I made the legs the same way as in previous tutorials.

Step 12

Happy Squirrel

If I were to make the topper for a cake (not just for a tutorial) I would additionally insert a cocktail stick in the tail. The cocktail stick would go 1/3 in the tail and 2/3 in the cake.

Step 13

Happy Squirrel

Shape the tail so that it is quite flat at the bottom - it will be more secure.
See step 21 and 22 - you might want to do them before sticking the tail to the body.

Step 15

Happy Squirrel

You can make the ears more pointy at the top :)

Step 16

Happy Squirrel

If your ears are too heavy, use a piece of wire.
